Stockholm - The City
River view The skyline of Stockholm shows plenty of chuch steeples although apparently Swedes are not avid church goers. A guide said that many Scandinavians are in church only three times in their lives: when they are baptized, when they marry and when they die.

The view of the city at right is from a vantage point across the harbor. That below is from the tower at one of the popular attractions.
Aerial view of city The Stockholm City Hall (below) is like none you've ever seen before. It looks more like a palace than a city hall. Some of the Nobel Prize awards ceremonies are held here.

Stockholm is a great place to walk. Many of the special areas and attractions and the shopping areas are in close proximity to each other. The weather is good and there is a new treat around each corner.
