The John W. Williams Building - 3/3/86

The structure was built in 1930 by the children of John W. and Juliet V. Williams. John Williams was a pioneer hardware merchant. He, his wife and their nine children were prominent in the history of the city. The Savage Juliette Dress Shop was the first tenant and occupied the site for many years. The Book Haven was also an occupant. Today it houses the Daily Events newspaper office. Approved: 3/3/86 |
