Medical Arts Building - 430-436 South Ave.

A group of Springfield men built the Medical Arts Building after 60 percent of the area doctors agreed to rent office space. It was purchased in 1944 by A. L. Burger. Butler and Associates purchased it in 1960 and renamed it the Empire Building. It was renamed in 1976 Park Central Towers when it was purchased by Diversified Land Company. Great Southern Savings and Loan Association. acquired the building in 1979 and is the current owner. Approved: 7/7/86 |
