|
|||||
The building was occupied by the Simmons Burk Clothing Company which was founded by Harry Simmons in 1886. This later became the Simmons Sales Company. The building was occupied by Broadstreet's, an interior design firm for a number of years. It is now an antique mall. There is elaborate baroque brick work on the patterned parapet and on the arched brick lintels forming hoods over the window openings. There are six bays with the second and fifth paired window openings with variant brick hoods. There are four-over-four light window sashes. The upper story is the same as that pictured in the Merchants & Manufacturing Record of 1906. Approved: 12/16/85 |
