|||||
The building was first owned by Fannie Crenshaw and was purchased by Keet and Rountree Mercantile company, a wholesale dry goods firm, about 1893. The firm continued to occupy the building until the firm was liquidated in 1934. The Bridger Grocery Store occupied the building from 1936-1939 and was followed by another wholesale dry goods company. In 1945 it was purchased by Horace Peer and has been known as Peer Hardware until the recent sale of the building to Ken Harlow. Future plans for the building are unknown at this time.
