Lake Titisee and the Rhine Falls

A favorite recreational spot in the Black Forest is Lake Titisee. The area around the lake is home to many clock factories and a visitor can learn the history of cuckoo clocks and how they are made. | |||||||||
At Schaffhausen, the Rhine River drops several hundred feet creating the Rhine Falls which is a popular tourist destination. Boats take tourists right out to the falls for closer inspection. This Germany's version of our Niagara Falls, not as large but impressive just as well. On to the Swiss Alps. >>> |
