Norlinger and Rothenburg, Germany
|
||||||||||
On the road from Munich back to Frankfurt there are two small towns which are fun to stop at. One of these is Norlinger. Shown above is the town's old town (above) and the altar at its cathedral. The other town is Rothenburg, a good example of an old walled city. Most of the outer wall is still standing. Houses are unique and brightly colored. It's always Christmas in Rothenburg with a number of shops open all year round selling traditional German Yuletide crafts. The toy display at left is in one of the Christmas shops. And that's my photo tour of part of Europe. Hope you enjoyed it. You can click here to go back to the start or use your Back button to go backward through the tour. |
