Hazelwood Cemetery - 1642 East Seminole St.

Hazelwood is the oldest cemetery in the City. It was purchased by the City Council in 1867. The cemetery is the grave site for many of Springfield's founders and whole families of illustrious citizens. Among those buried there are Samuel McDaniel, Governor John S. Phelps, John Polk Campbell and William Fulbright. Approved: 8/13/79 |
